Hey you! I’m Kasey!
Welcome to Days of a Wife! This is my space to share all the things I love. I live in Virginia (born and raised) with my sweet husband, Todd. We just bought our first home, have no kids or dogs…yet, and we are involved in full time ministry.
For many years I have read blogs and always thought that one day I would like to start one, but never thought I actually would. Well fast forward to Fall of 2016, right after we got married, and I realized I wanted a place to share and document all the memories that seemed to already be slipping away. So randomly with no research, I started Days of a Wife. I’ve grown since then and do more than just share memories, but I haven’t ever regretted starting a blog.
I’m so glad you are here to share the journey of life with me! I hope to encourage you, entertain you, and hopefully give a few helpful ideas! I would love to get to know each and everyone of you, so always feel free to reach out to me!
These Are a Few of my Favorite Things:
Home decor, Disney, thrifting, Liberty University(we both graduated from here!), date night with hubs, punny jokes, rewriting songs, candles, a good schedule, family time, Netflix, scrapbooking, Anthropologie, The Office, Friends, Parks and Rec., hospitality, Kainos (our young adult ministry), a good book, cooking and baking, lavender fields, beautiful pictures, chocolate, the color gray (seriously I gravitate towards it for everything), financial planning, all things holidays, gummy worms, the Enneagram (type 3 here), vanilla chai lattes, essential oils, makeup and beauty products, and a clean home.
All of these things are fun, and you will often see these as subjects on my blog, but what I hope shines through on all my blog posts is my love for Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is 100% true and that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. We do more than fill our a seat on Sunday, we live our lives, in all that we do, to glorify and worship him. Our faith gives us hope and peace through the good and the bad.
Thank you for getting to know a little about me, now don’t be a stranger! Feel free to connect, I always have room for more friends!
