Wow! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a life lately post.
My last official Life Lately post was in January, and then I shared about our cruise here, here, and here! So, I have a lot of catching up to do!
After our cruise we had an amazing night of worship!
And I managed to snap a picture with a few friends 🙂
We also had Lecrae and the whole Unashamed Tour come to our church, which Todd and I both volunteered with.
We also attended a beautiful wedding of some of our friends.
We took a trip to Asheville to visit some friends.
We pretty much did a huge food tour of Asheville and one of my favorite places to eat was Biscuit Head! The biscuits are the size of a cat’s head (hence the name), and then they have a whole jelly and butter bar with tons of different flavors! A carb lovers dream! lol
We also did a little bit of shopping, but we skipped over buying these glasses 😉
The day before Easter we got our new puppy! You can read all about him here!
Isn’t he just the cutest!?
We celebrated Easter and in 8 days we went to 6 different services!
Todd and I also exchanged Easter baskets like we do every year! One of my favorite traditions!
I’ve been diffusing a lot, including this AH-mazing blend. You can check out oils here.
We also went on opening night to see the latest Avengers! (cue all the tears)
For the National Day of Prayer, our church choir joined many other choirs in singing in Constitution Hall. So we were able to go on a quick D.C. Trip!
Todd’s parents also went on the trip, and we all decided to get Bird scooters to move around town. Todd was so confident, and I was a little hesitant (I might have almost wrecked one time…) but it was a ton of fun and I think we will do it in just about any city we visit from now on!
We decided to see a few of the monuments
And then we took an Uber over to the Smithsonian Zoo which is totally free!
We ate crepes at a food truck at the zoo, and I highly recommend it!
We also made sure to get our rest in on the bus!
Oh and did I mention we had Shake Shack for the first time ever on this trip!?
This was such a sweet moment of Indie interacting with the T.V. because a lion came on. He kept growling at it.
I also went on a work trip to Charleston and was able to have dinner at Patriot’s Point and it was beautiful!
Wow….that was a lot but at the same time there was so much more that happened during these last months, these just happen to be what we captured on camera!
What have you been up to recently?
