WOOOOOOHOOOOO! Today is officially my first day of Summer! Even though I get about a two month vacation from school, it always goes really quickly!
So this year I decided to create a schedule for myself so that I can accomplish some goals I have had on my mind.
Schedule:
The schedule I have made for myself will obviously be flexible, however I didn’t just want to waste my days away. I work best with a schedule, I’m a routine type of person, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for me it works. Here is how I will hopefully spend most of my Summer days:
8:00am Wake Up
8:00-8:20 Breakfast and Devotional
8:20-9:00 Workout
9:00-9:30 Get Ready
9:30- 10:00 Morning Daily Chores
10:00-11:00 Free Time
11:00-12:00 Project of the Day
12:00-1:00 Lunch and Free Time
1:00-2:00 Errands/Chores
2:00-4:00 Free Time
4:00: Start Dinner
A few notes about my schedule:
Project of the Day will be when I tackle chores that aren’t regular daily or weekly chores such as cleaning and organizing the pantry.
Free Time isn’t always just a Netflix chill time. I will be using this time to accomplish and work on some of my goals that I list below.
I stopped my schedule after 4 because the evenings are so hard to plan. Todd will be home in the evening and also are evenings look a bit different every day.
Again, this is not set in STONE; only a guide to help me get more accomplished.
Goals:
*Scrapbook: I have not scrapbooked since Todd and I have been engaged, I want to make a scrapbook for the 5th year of us dating, our honeymoon, and our first year of marriage.
*Make essential oil roller balls: I have been diffusing oil for awhile, however I have yet to make an roller balls. Todd got me all the stuff I needed for Christmas, and now I will have the time!
*Workout: This is built into my schedule daily. I have a hard time working out during the school year, so I’m hoping if I become used to it in the Summer I will continue when I start back at school. I really want to just gain muscle tone that I have lost over the last few years.
*Swagbucks: Okay this is something most of you probably don’t do. But Swagbucks is an awesome way to earn money by doing surveys and other offers. I have done Swagbucks for many years, and it is how I earn a bit of extra money. I used it to save for our honeymoon, and I want to continue to do so to save money for our next big trip! If this is something you are interested in just let me know and I can tell you more about it!
*Read: I have a bunch of books I want to read before school starts back. I will be not only reading books, but also listening to them on audiobook!
*Knit: Okay I don’t know if this is something I actually will get accomplished, but Todd got me yarn and needles for Christmas and I really want to try and learn over the Summer!
*Play Piano: Todd is teaching me to play the Piano. I hardly know anything, and I don’t expect to know how to do everything overnight, but over the Summer I would like to continue to learn how!
*Blog: This is probably one of my biggest goals, I want to blog more often, and I want to improve my knowledge of blogging. I’m hoping everyday I can learn something new to improve my blog. Today I learned how to use Adobe Spark, so I’m headed in the right direction.
*Get More Organized: There are areas of my life that I would like to have a bit more organization to, so this goal speaks to itself!
*Netflix: Okay I don’t know if this counts as a goal, but there are a few TV shows and movies that I have been told to watch and I would like to see myself make it through a few 😉
*Have fun!!: I want to just simply enjoy my Summer to the fullest!
Alrighty! That about sums up what my Summer is going to be looking like! Do you have any summer goals or things you would like to get done?
Thanks for stopping by and reading about my Summer To-Do list. Hopefully this encourages you to write some goals for yourself this Summer! I wanted to share this with you, but I also wanted to have it in writing to refer back to!
Happy Summer!
