Happy Monday friends! Today I am linking up with The Blended Blog for their TBB Asks for May! Let’s talk all things entertainment!
1. Comedy or Drama?
Both! Depends on what I am in the mood for. Sometimes I need to just laugh and sometimes I need a good period drama or crime scene show! Some of my favorite comedies are The Office, Friends, Parks and Rec, New Girl, and Everyone Loves Raymond. Some dramas I have loved are Parenthood, Reign, Criminal Minds, and Riverdale. (These are not all that I love, just the first ones I could think of!)
2. Fiction or Non-Fiction?
Fiction. I read fiction so much faster! I read maybe two Non-fiction books a year. I am really looking forward though to Girl Wash Your Face, because I’ve heard such good things about it. However, fiction is what makes me stay up late at night reading to find out what happens next!
3. Movies in Theater or at Home?
I honestly don’t watch movies too often at home, and ever since we got Movie Pass (not loving the changes they just implemented!), we have been going to the theater a lot and have seen pretty much every movie we want to see! Speaking of which, Avengers…
4. Musical or Play?
Hmm..I like both! I enjoy a good musical if I like the songs, like Beauty and the Beast or Hamilton, but I also just love a good story! Todd and I have also been to the Opera (we’ve seen Cinderella and Sweeney Todd) and also really enjoy that too!
P.S. in the picture above we were in Halloween costumes cause it was dress up night at the Opera, however no-one else got the memo besides us and this one other lady, literally we got so many odd looks! LOL!
5. Which meal of the day is your favorite to eat out?
Definitely dinner! Give me all the steak…but I’m also a big fan of breakfast for dinner!
seen here….
and here… and many more times that haven’t been photographed!
6. Favorite book ever read?
Such a hard choice! I would say the book series that made me fall in love with reading…Harry Potter. I could still pick up all the books and read them all over again. Also let’s take a second to remember when my dream came true on our honeymoon and we went to Harry Potter world at Universal! If you want to see that post check it out here.
7. Game Night: yes or no?
Heck yes! We have game nights all the time with our friends! Free entertainment! We actually have quite a collection of games in our “game closet.” One of our favorites is One Night Ultimate Werewolf. If you have never played this game, you have to! It’s so cheap (about 15 bucks) and you will be having werewolf parties after you just play once. I know it sounds like something from Twilight, but it’s not. It’s a super short game (takes 7 minutes) and it’s mainly just talking and working as a group.
8. Favorite Outside game to play?
My family is a big fan of ladder golf! My husband and I also just got into Spikeball. Both of these are games anyone can play and have fun!
9. Favorite TV series ever?
Wow…what a tough question! I might have to say Friends..or maybe Parks and Rec., but we haven’t even finished that one yet! This is just too hard! But both these shows I feel like I could watch time and time again and just laugh.
10. Sitcoms growing up or sitcoms of today?
Definitely the sitcoms from growing up! Friends, Everyone Loves Raymond, Full House, King of Queens…the list goes on, and they just don’t seem to make them like that anymore!
11. Miniature golf or bowling?
Miniature golf, although I’m not very good! lol Speaking of mini golf, we just went the other week and we about froze our tails off, but we had fun! 🙂
12. Favorite movie theater candy?
Well first of all, I never buy it actually at the theatre ($5 dollar gummy worms, say what!?), but I love gummy worms and junior mints for the movies!
13. How do you like your popcorn?
Super super buttery! Like I’m talking soaked in butter! Sadly though popcorn can sometimes make me a bit sick, so I can never eat a ton of it. I also love kettle corn!
14. 3D movie with the glasses; yes or no?
Ugh, no! 3D movies are more expensive, and honestly I just enjoy the regular ones, lol.
15. Favorite genre of books to read?
I definitely tend towards thrillers. I love reading just about any genre, but the books that really hook me are thrillers! Below I’ve listed just a few that I have really enjoyed!
Let me know in the comments what your favorite TV show or book is! Thanks for stopping by!
