A baby’s first holiday is always so exciting! This Easter my twin boys will be just shy of 7 months (or 5 months adjusted age!) I knew that I wanted to get them a fun and cute Easter basket with practical items for them for the upcoming stages they are going to be going through (introducing solids, teething, summer time, etc.). Their Easter baskets have a few minor differences if it’s something I think they can share! Hope this gives you some ideas for your baby’s first Easter basket!
Their Easter baskets are the large ones from Pottery Barn, and the liners can be found here. Their Mimi gifted these too them and I think they will be timeless and will get many years of good use! I also love the sweet embroidery on the ears!
To start, I got them quite a few books. We read multiple books a day, and I hope to grow a love of reading in both of my boys! So I made sure to get them a few books to grow their collection! Some of these I was able to get second hand (money saver!!) and others I got off of amazon! I will have the books we got linked below!
Books:
We Believe (This series is awesome, we are working on getting all of them!)
Clothes:
I found these adorable onesies for only $5 dollars at Old Navy! I think the “Oh Brother” saying is perfect for this duo to match. I also love these hats! I’ve been eyeing Cash and Company for awhile and knew I wanted them to have matching hats for when we go to the beach this summer! They should fit the boys ideally from 6 months to 2 years so the wear time is good! Also, they can match with their daddy! (They sell matching adult ones too).
Teething/Starting Solids:
Ahhh two milestones that are just around the corner for us that I want the boys to be prepared for! I love these mats that stick to the high chair and act as plates! I also love these utensils that help them try to feed themselves. They also double as teethers! I also picked up these fruit feeders so we could freeze them and let the boys naw on them! Also these little fruit teethers are super cute!
Toys:
These rabbit rattles were a gift for the boys when they were born, but I had to throw them in the basket because they make the cutest little addition for Easter! I also think that as the boys get older they will love this pop toy!
So that’s it! That’s what my boys are getting for their first Easter! What are you putting in your kids Easter baskets this year!?
