Hello! Long time no blog! If you’re wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been getting back into the groove of school! We started back a week ago and it has been a whirlwind of busyness!
This year I am at the same school, but a new building, so I can’t wait to share my classroom with you!
Alright first area is my desk area! Sorry for the glare; I have a huge window beside my desk, which I love, but doesn’t make for the best pictures! 😉
This is the little area behind my desk where I do all my planning! I love my hello sign that’s on my filing cabinet. My fellow co-worker Leandra got it for me! (Thanks Leandra!)
Here’s a little closer view. I have some sweet gifts I’ve gotten on the second shelf, and on the top shelf I usually have my diffuser going with peppermint in it. Also, I have my buttercup sign that I actually made myself!
My desk is in the back, so this is more or less my view from my desk. I love my math alphabet at the top of the front wall!
Close up of the left….
And the right…
And my awesome poster. I got this idea from Momfessionals!
Then the left side wall are partly the students’ lockers and some tables for labs.
As well as what I call my “student zone”
This is the area for students. This is where they turn in their work, where they check their absent work (I will be sharing a blog about how I do this soon), all the craft supplies, extra pencils, and then some extra things to explore if they are done early with something.
Also, on the left I have my science quote wall. I got these quotes off of Teachers Pay Teachers.
Then on the right wall, one of my co-workers who also uses this room for one class, made this awesome sign!
And then you run into the kitchen! This is great for when we have labs, and also great for the Home Economics Class I teach!
And then on the other side of the kitchen, a few more science posters! 😉
Sorry my photo quality is not the best for this post, but I really wanted to share these details with you, and I knew all the windows I have (3) would be a struggle to work around with pictures! Thanks for stopping by!
