Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year to shop for clothes. I absolutely love all things cozy, and fall colors are just my jam.
While I know it may be a bit early to be thinking of fall clothing items, I wanted to share with you a few items I recently have picked up. A lot of the good fall pieces usually go fast, and a lot of them can still be worn in August and will transition well!
I did the majority of my shopping at AE, but also picked up a few items from Just Fab & Forever 21!
I absolutely adore this jumpsuit. It looks great as a stand alone piece for summer, but will easy transfer to Fall and even Winter with a layer underneath. I also think a hat paired with this would be absolutely perfect!
Does this sweater not absolutely scream Fall to you!? When I saw this oversized sweater in orange I knew I had to have it for all things Fall. It just seems like the perfect item to wear to a bonfire or a pumpkin patch. And you know if you love something a lot….they say buy it in all the colors….
So I also bought it in a nice neutral tan color! It’s so cozy y’all, seriously the perfect sweater to pair with leggings or jeans. Also, there are quite a few other colors!
I finally found the perfect pair of leggings! I have been on the hunt. I tried the zella leggings at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and honestly didn’t love them, they were too thick and tight.
So I decided to try these Aerie ones that I’ve heard such amazing things about, and guys…they are they best. They are so moveable, and not too thick, but still warm and opaque. This is my first pair, and honestly I will probably be picking up a few more pairs for the colder months. These are perfect to transition to gym to dressy!
Also, these snake skin boots are adorable!
I was eyeing these boots from Nordstrom, but didn’t want to pay that much for a pair of boots I knew I wouldn’t be able to wear with everything. I was so pumped when I found these snakeskin boots from AE because they were affordable, and in my opinion, cuter! These are perfect to try out a new trendy without breaking the bank.
I also bought these brown booties, which are perfect for my taller girls that don’t want a lot of extra heel. While I think these are a super cute boot, I’m gonna keep it real with y’all…these are not the most comfortable, in fact I’m going to return them because of that fact. Are they terrible? No, but I’m on my feet all day, so they just won’t work for me. I think I’m going to get these boots instead.
This adorable corset midi dress caught my eye because of the cute pattern. It’s perfect for when you want to look fall like, but it’s still burning hot outside. Also, the corset detail on the back allows for a looser or tighter fit, depending on what you want, which is perfect for different body types!
This t-shirt is probably my favorite item because of the colors! It’s the perfect fit and perfect for transitioning to Fall. I’m going to be wearing this all the time.
I am so bummed about this adorable leopard skirt, because it is selling out so fast, and it’s not available in my size! I would say this runs big/true to size. It’s a zipper, not stretch so I tried sizing up, but no luck, it’s too big. It’s still available in a few sizes though, so maybe some of you will be able to snag this cutie!
If you are unsure how to wear it, pair it with a basic or graphic tee for fall with booties!
These paperbag jeans from Forever 21 caught my eye because they are the jean version of the shorts that were so popular this summer! Warning, these run big. I’m usually a 4 or 6. I ordered a 4 and they were still quite a bit large so I would definitely size down one or two sizes. These are super high rise too, so perfect for all your crop tops!
Lastly, I bought these felt hats from JustFab because I have been wanting a few for Fall & Winter. However, these are always so expensive anywhere else! I’m talking at least $50 dollars! These hats however are a great price, for under $20 dollars and maybe even cheaper (depending on the sale).
I absolutely cannot wait for Fall now! I’m so ready to be cozy and eat all things pumpkin! Are you ready for Fall or are you still enjoying Summer?
