Hey everyone! It’s time for my monthly empties (this time it’s two months)!
Now if you’ve never seen an empties post then your probably wondering, “why is this girl talking about her trash?”
Well my answer to that is that everyone shares what they buy, but very rarely do you see people talk about what they actually used up and how they liked it!
So this works like a mini review session, I will let you know my thoughts about it and if I would buy it again! 🙂
Hair
Dove Dry Shampoo: This is my favorite dry shampoo. Repurchase again and again!
L’OREAL Boost It Spray: I use about one of these a month! This product is my favorite affordable products to add volume and lift and texture to my hair!
Beauty Pin-Ups Hair Rescue Masque: I got this sample in an Ipsy and I really loved it! I loved the smell, it didn’t make my hair greasy, and it seemed to make my hair healthier.
Ever Pure Shampoo: I switched to sulfate-free color safe shampoo after I got my hair colored a few months ago! This shampoo is great and my hair still has good looking color! My only complaint is that the shampoo takes forever to come out of the tube!
Wen Hair Treatment:This product was not a favorite of mine. I have never liked any of the wen products I have tried. My mom gave me this because she didn’t like it and I used it up, but overall I never thought it did anything amazing for my hair, especially for the price.
Marc Anthony Coconut Oil and Shea Butter: This was another Ipsy sample that I loved. This smell was light but really good, and I loved adding this to my hair as soon as I got out of the shower. For the price I am definitely considering buying a full size!
Makeup
PurLisse BB Cream: I got this sample in my Ipsy and a little went a long way. I actually really enjoyed this BB cream and would consider buying it. I applied it just with my fingers, and it went on great and never broke out my skin. It was also super light weight but still had great coverage!
Porefessional:I bought this product originally for my wedding (two years ago!) I have been using it very sparingly. It’s a great product, but you don’t get a ton for the cost. I have the mini size and you can see it’s like the sample size you might get for another product for free. I noticed a difference when I used it. However, it wasn’t a product I had to have on. The texture though of it is so cool, unlike anything else. I would repurchase again if there was another special occasion I wanted it for.
Lash boost Mascara: This was a really good mascara. I would repurchase, however there are so many other ones I want to try!
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster:Physicians formula makes my favorite bronzers. I have probably gone through 15 at least. I have tried probably every single one, and love them all! I just make sure I don’t get the light bronzer, and then I know it will work well! I used this one all the way up, not one piece of it left! I will repurchase any bronzer from them. I am currently using the butter bronzer from them.
Physician Formula Organic Wear Mascara: Not a fan of this, didn’t do anything or my lashes and came off so easily.
Butterfly Mascara: This mascara was a let down to me, it often flaked off. Would not repurchase.
Body Products
Ponds Anti-Wrinkle Cream: This anti-wrinkle cream is amazing! I love the smell, and it kept my skin moisturized through all of winter, but it’s not too heavy! I’m not sure how amazing it is at preventing wrinkles, but hopefully it does something! 🙂
Almay Sensitive Skin Deodorant: Not too much to say about this, except it was good and did it’s job, I would repurchase.
Olay Anti-aging Cleanser: I had a coupon for this cleanser and decided to try it out and it worked well! Kept me free of break-outs. Not sure about the anti-aging properties, but it can’t hurt!
Hand Sanitizer: I have so many of these I’m trying to use up, lol. Winter Candy Apple was a good scent.
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion: Had a coupon, smelled good, classic lotion, but nothing ground breaking.
Lemon Essential Oil: I love Eden’s garden essential oils, they are great quality and half the price of the big companies. I will definitely repurchase Lemon oil, as well as this brand.
Black Amysthest Body Mist:I have a zillion of these body mists. This was the smell of my high school years, and now it is discontinued. When they announced it was being discontinued I bought a ton of them, so I decided I should probably start making my way through some of them! I would repurchase, but I can’t anymore. 🙁
Passion Struck Body Mist: Love this smell as well! Not extremely long lasting, but good for a body mist.
Charity Pot Lotion: This lotion is pricey, but it’s good! It’s definitely thicker and has a nice light smell. I would definitely repurchase, I just love lush. I will also save this container to take back for a free mask!
Purlisse Sheet Mask: Using this sheet mask I could tell the price difference. This was definitely a higher quality sheet mask than what I normally use and I loved it!
Olay Makeup Remover: These aren’t bad, I will repurchase if I have a coupon, but I prefer the almay or the neutrogena ones
Neutrogena Makeup Remover: These have been bought time and time again! I love them. I have a money saving tip on these, if you missed the tip you can check it out here.
Aches and Pains Nighttime Relief: Love adding this to my baths. I am thinking about buying a big bag of it.
Lily Whitening and Brightening Sheet Mask: I honestly cannot remember if I liked this mask or not, probably did just can’t remember! lol
Cleaning Products
Bounce Dryer Sheet: Love them, work great.
Oxi Clean Laundry Detergent: I really liked this detergent, had a great smell.
Downy Scent Boosters: Pretty much the only scent boosters worth
buying!
Clorox Bleach Toilet Cleaner: Thank the Lord for Bleach! This stuff rocks!
Febreeze Jolly Pine: Enjoyed the smell, but started to get tired of it, especially for a bathroom, but I am a big pine fan for Winter.
Method All Purpose Cleaner Clementine: Love love love. I have already repurchased in a different scent. The clementine scent though is amazing.
Scent Products
B&BW Champagne Toast: love this smell!
Hanna’s At Home white Chocolate Covered Strawberries: This was a surprisingly great smell! No clue where to repurchase it though!
B&BW Mint Chocolate: Ehh, a smell I wouldn’t buy again
B&BW Ocean Driftwood: This is a great manly scent!
Scentsy Welcome Home Wax Melts: Love this, perfect for all seasons of the year.
Cardamom & Suede Wallflower: This was a good strong clean manly scent.
Oh my goodness! I don’t think I’ll ever do two months in one again! That was a lot of products! Let me know in the comments what products you have been using up recently!
