Can you believe it is already the first day of March!? February flew by!
Usually I aim for four books a month, and I thought I was going to get there, but then the end of February came faster than I was expecting! I read three books this month, all very different, so let’s get started!
The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson
Oh my goodness, this book! Wow! This was a fast pace thriller that had me constantly wanting to keep reading. The story line follows two strangers that meet on a plane, and devise a plan to kill someone. This book has a lot of action and a few twists and turns. If you’re a thriller fan, read this!
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
This book was slow but a constant read for me. I don’t mean that they story was slow, or that it wasn’t good, but it didn’t have that, I have to read the next chapter feel. However, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good book. The Night Circus has been on my TBR list for forever, and honestly it’s a book I’m so happy I read. It told a truly magical story about a circus that comes to towns all over the world, but it’s so much more than that! Don’t let me saying it’s a slow pace book scare you away. It really is a story I think will stay with me.
Normally I love Hilderbrand books, but this one was just meh. I picked this randomly from the library, and little did I know it was the story of one of the characters that was in her latest Winter Solstice book. Maybe because I knew what happened to the characters because I had already read Winter Solstice, it made it less interesting to me, but honestly it was just annoying. I didn’t find really any of the characters that likable. I found their decisions super dumb. Also, I find any book that in a way glorifies an affair, or makes you try to approve of it super annoying. I will say however, that I liked how the book is called The Rumor, and you get to hear what the rumors are going around town about the characters. Overall it earned about 3 out of 5 stars from me, because the second half of the novel became way more enjoyable to me.
That’s it! I’m already half way through another one that I can’t wait to share next month!
So let me know below what other books I have to read!
Happy reading!
