Happy Friday ya’ll! As you guys are reading this I am exploring Washington D.C. for the first time! I will have a recap for you all when I get back, but for now, let’s talk about some of my recent favorites!
I got a kick out of this picture the other day! It has definitely been a favorite of this week because I have been showing everyone. If you didn’t know already, I love Disney, so any type of Disney humor I love!
2. This past weekend we went out to eat at the new Zoes Kitchen that just opened up in our area with some good friends. Spending time with friends with definitely a favorite, and so was the delicious food! I will say it was a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, however it was delicious and healthy which was awesome!
Todd got a Salmon bowl…
And I got Chicken Kabobs with pasta salad. 🙂
After Zoes Kitchen, we went to Sweet Frog. Todd had told me they had a frozen ice cream that tasted just like Dole Whip and I didn’t believe him…until I tried it!
Guys if you have never had Dole Whip, or you love Dole Whip but you don’t live near Disney, then you need to go to Sweet Frog and get some! I don’t know how long this will last, but I was in heaven! I will say it still tastes better at Disney, because well duh.. you’re at Disney, but it was still delicious and a great reminder of our awesome Disney honeymoon!
3. I was finally able to watch the Osprey Volleyball girls play a game! I am so proud of all their handwork, this is the first year our school has had a team, and the first year many of them have ever played volleyball! Watching them was definitely a favorite!
4. One of my absolute biggest pet peeves is when my hair is flat and has no volume around the top of my head. This always happens when my hair is longer because it is just weighed down.
I have tried so many different volumizing products, even super expensive ones, but this one is the bees-knees! Seriously! If you like some volume in your hair you have to try this spray, it’s definitely a new favorite staple! It smells great, holds your hair, doesn’t make it greasy, its drugstore price, and lasts all day! If you would like me to do a more in-depth review let me know because it’s amazing!
5. I have been making a lot of our favorite fall recipes here recently! We have been loving chicken and dumplings! I shared the recipe yesterday if you missed it you can check it out here! It’s so easy and delicious! And so cozy for fall (can food be cozy…? I think so 😉 )
Hope you all have a great weekend! Leave me a comment about what you are loving recently!
