Happy Friday friends! This is a super exciting Friday for me especially because it is the first official day of Christmas break for me!
1. Empties
Last week I shared some of my empties with you. I love seeing what other products people actually use up, so if you’re nosey like me, check it out here!
2. LOTS of Media
I feel like I have so many good media recommendations!
First of all, Todd and I have been getting our money’s worth out of our moviepass, so we have seen a bunch of the latest movies! Some of my favorites have been Wonder (cried the whole movie!!), Daddy’s Home 2 (laughed the whole movie!!!), Star Wars, and Coco! You guys already know I am a Disney fan, so of course we had to see the latest Pixar, and it did not disappoint! Todd and I both cried! Not only was it a great story, but it was a beautiful movie to watch!
Next, we FINALLY finished The Office, and I might have also shed a tear during the finale! That was our first time watching it all the way through. So many people I know either love it, or they say, “I’ve tried but it’s just not my humor”. My advice is to stick it out. I used to say the exact same thing! Start season one and go all the way through till season 3! (First season is super short). If by then you don’t like it, then you can quit! Lol… Random episodes though don’t do it justice. You get into the storyline of the characters and that is what makes it so awesome!
So after the Office we needed a new show to watch together, so we went with the overwhelming recommendation we have been getting which is Parks and Rec! So far we have been flying through it and really loving it!
Also, on TV we started a show that just came out on the History channel called KnightFall. I for one LOVE European drama shows that are set in the past, but most of them are filled with trash. Thankfully, this one is TV-14, so there is not near as much “stuff” as some of the others out there. If you haven’t seen it, check it out, only 2 episodes have been out so far!
Last recommendation I have media wise is the Podcast my husband was on last week. I’ve mentioned this Podcast before, and always enjoyed, but I loved it even more hearing my husband share! If you did not know, my husband is a Worship Pastor, and the Podcast he was on talks about Faith and really understanding why we believe what we believe, so he joined them for an episode all about Worship. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, you should check it out.
It’s also cool because my husband edits podcasts for others, but this is the first one he has been on! 😉
3. Ruffles Jalapeno Ranch Chips
I bought these randomly and they are A-MAZING!! Seriously…I just about ate the whole bag, poor Todd got only a few.
(Confession: this is a pic of an empty bag)…lol
4. Christmas Happenings
Of course we have been having our fair share of Christmas events. Lots of parties, hot chocolate and going to see lights!
We went to our town’s event called Dickens of a Christmas. We always try to get Kettle Corn and homemade donuts and apple cider!
We went to my husband’s staff party where we played Christmas charades! 😉
And we drove through a live Nativity, saw Christmas lights and drank some Dunkin!
5. Vlogmas
I myself do not vlog, but I enjoy watching others! If you haven’t heard of vlogmas it’s when people vlog every day of December up until Christmas. I love watching them while baking or doing laundry, because it’s easy listening material and not something I feel like I need to have my eyes glued to. Some of my favorites to watch are AlexandMichael, JamBeauty89, and Crystal Tara.
Well now I’m off to get my grading finished and everything done for in time for Christmas!
Thanks for stopping by!
