Hey Ya’ll!
This has been one crazy week getting back into the swing of things, but I am so excited for the school year to start!
My first favorite this year has been the new podcast called Up and Vanished that I have been listening to! This is a lot like Serial, but rather there is a cold case of a missing woman that the host is trying to solve. It’s super interesting, especially if you are into crime tv shows!
This week I have been working on decorating my new classroom. My classroom is at a new location so I’m pretty much starting from scratch which actually makes it really fun! I will be sharing my classroom tour here in a few days, but till then, I have been loving a few items I found on Teachers Pay Teachers. If you have never used the site and you are a homeschool mama or you are a teacher you absolutely must jump on board! A lot of stuff is free or just really cheap! I was happy to find a few items to decorate my classroom because sometimes math and science are harder subjects to decorate for.
I love these math ABC posters! Love the updated ABC’s! Also I would say this would also work for more than just middle school, it has a lot of great reminders for all upper grades!
I also got these inspirational science quotes. While I didn’t love every quote, I did like most of them and I liked the design of them. Also, they print in black and white so no using color ink! WOOHOO!
Another favorite from this week is the movie The Circle. Todd and I randomly picked it from the library and we loved it! It’s a little bit like the book 1984 if you’ve ever read it. It really makes you think because it’s all about social media really and truly controlling your life. As heavy as that sounds, it actually really wasn’t that heavy. If you haven’t seen it yet put it on your list!
My last favorite is this amazing recipe I tried this week! I know soups aren’t really summery, but this was just delicious and healthy! We will definitely be making it more this in the upcoming Fall and Winter.
What are your favorites of this week?
Thanks for stopping by! Pray for me and my school as next week begins the school year! I will be praying for all the other fellow teachers out there!
