Happy Wedding Season! Our Anniversary is in just a few days (I can’t believe it’s almost been a year!) and as I’ve been thinking back to that awesome day, I’ve been thinking about one of my absolute favorite parts of our wedding, and that’s our guestbook.
For most, guestbooks are probably just a list of names and something they never look back at, but for ours we decided to do something a bit different.
I had seen a lot of people use the Instax mini cameras at their wedding, but I wanted to take it a step further. Because I love to scrapbook, I decided to make our guestbook a scrapbook of sorts that people could insert their picture and decorate the way they wanted.
I started off my purchasing this blank guestbook off of Etsy and bulk film off of Amazon. Then I found some cute washi tapes, stickers, and sharpies in the colors I wanted. I went with a gold, silver, and mint theme to match my wedding colors.
We then set up a station at our wedding reception with the help of two awesome ladies that took pictures of our guests. We let the guests decide how they wanted to decorate around their pictures and the results were absolutely amazing!
I loved it too, because after we left, the wedding party who stayed and helped clean up took full advantage of the polaroid and left us many cute pictures and notes 😀
Also, we had some people take some candids of us and put them in the book!
We didn’t see our guest book until we got home from our honeymoon two weeks later! So this was such a sweet surprise! Thank you to all who came to our wedding and to those who contributed to our guestbook! We loved it!
