I am so excited because there is only one more day of school and that means way more time to read books! Reading during the school year is tough, but I have read a few books since my February book review, I thought I would share those with you all!
I have three winners and two losers, so first lets start with the winners!
1. I Let You Go
Recently I’ve been really into the thriller or mystery style genre and this one did not disappoint! There was one point in the book that totally surprised. So much so I had to contact my friend that read it already and double check that I understood the story correctly! lol I will warn you though that this book is really slow in the beginning, but once part 2 hits it is so good!
Usually I am not one for nonfiction, but this book drew me in. It’s real life stories from the people that worked in the White House. It focuses mainly on the Kennedys to the Obamas. I truly learned so much from this book and have been sharing all the interesting facts I learned from it with everyone!
Woah! This book was just woah! This book was another thriller that kept me always wanting to read more! The story line follows two girls that both lived at one point in the same house. I recommend this one, especially if you are into thrillers!
This book was a bit of a loser to me. I randomly picked it up at the library, and it was a bit painful for me to finish (but I have to finish a book I start, anyone else this way?). It didn’t have a strong story line, was slightly trashy, and just didn’t interest me. I would not recommend this book/series.
This sadly was another loser. I love her other book Where’d You Go, Bernadette. So, I was hoping for this to be just as great, but it fell flat. The main character was not relatable to me, and I often had to reread what I had just read because I did not understand the main character’s sense of humor. Maybe it was just over my head, but I didn’t enjoy it.
If you want to keep up with what I am reading all the time, friend me on Goodreads!
Also, is there anything I have to read next!?
Currently I am reading Cancel the Wedding!
Thanks for stopping by!
