I just mentioned in my Favorite Fridays post last week how pumped I was for it to be Summer, so this post is perfect so I can get a chance to talk all about it! I’m so thankful that The Blended Blog hosts these fun link ups every month!
1. Walk or Bike Ride?
Ever since we went to Williamsburg for our anniversary last year and rode bikes around Colonial Williamsburg, I am all about riding bikes! Sadly we don’t have any right now, and our neighborhood would be a challenge to ride around in (huge hill) however, hopefully we can change that in our future! 🙂
2. Favorite Picnic Food?
I love Pasta Salad! That’s what I always bring, and I always look forward to eating it, you can check out my recipe HERE.
3. Pool or Lake?

So I love the beautiful scenery of a lake(we live near one) however, I would much rather swim in a pool. I like being able to see my feet, and not having to wonder about what creepy crawlers and fish are in there with me!
4. Favorite Flavor of Ice cream?
Chocolate with something mixed in: cookie dough, brownies, etc.
5. Ice cream cone or in a Dish?
Ideally for pictures…in a cone(way cuter am I right?) However, usually for easiness I go with a dish.
6. Flip Flops or Slides?
I am definitely a slides girl! I think they have the functionality of flip flops, but dress everything up way more! They are so versatile. I have both this pair and this pair that I bought for this Summer and know I am going to get a ton of use out of them.
7. Jean Shorts or Jean Capris?
Definitely jean shorts, however I’m not really one for “short shorts” so I look for pairs of shorts that have more of a mid length, or I make my own from Goodwill!
8. Favorite summer Fruit?
Strawberries! I love to make a delicious fruit pizza with them for the fourth!
9. Corn on the Cob or Cut off the Cob?
On the cob on the grill and smothered in butter!
10. Favorite Summertime Song?
So both of these songs are nothing new probably to most, and also probably not summery to most, but to me they both have summer vibes

11. Favorite Summertime activity?
Traveling! Can’t wait for our trips this Summer! 🙂
12. Favorite Berry?
I second what I said earlier, Strawberries.
13. Bikini’s, tankini’s, or one pieces?
Depends on the situation, but I’m usually a tankini gal, I’m too tall to feel comfy in a one piece. I just picked up this one and I love it!
14. Dresses or skirts?
Dresses all the way! I love how easy they are! You don’t have to think at all about making an outfit, because a dress and some shoes and make a necklace or earrings just looks complete!
15. One Word to Describe Summer?
Sun-Filled
