We’re having two little boys! <3 We are so grateful that we were able to find out the gender of our twins just a few weekends ago with some of our close friends and family! Here are some of the details from our twin gender reveal!
I knew I wanted to keep decorations fairly simple being that I didn’t want to spend a ton (decor gets pricey!), and we had decided to have our party completely outside so I was fairly limited on what exactly I could decorate. I decided to keep it simple and focus on one main table that served as the dessert and voting area!
I loved the idea of useable decor, so I hit up the local dollar tree and found these small glass vases, and candies that were colored pink or blue (pink is way easier to find!).
For pink we used: iced graham crackers, pink starbursts, peach gummies, and pink lollipops. Also, I added in some pink bubly that I got from our local grocery store.
For the blue I went with: almond joys, crunch bars, white chocolate hershey kisses, and blue blow pops. I also added in some lime Pepsi! I also set out bags so people could take home a small bag of candy if they wished!
My in-laws provided these beautiful mini cupcakes from Bubblecake, which we topped with these adorable cupcake toppers from amazon!
For voting, my options were limited with twins, but I found these team boy, team girl, or team both stickers on Amazon.
I also got this awesome set of plates, napkins, and straws!
I then finished the table off with some thrifted frames with the babies’ latest ultrasound pics (great when deciding on voting) and some fake flowers and this cute wooden vase from Michaels!
As far as menu, we kept it pretty simple with grilling burgers & dogs, salads, and fresh fruit and dip!
For our gender reveal we had the ultrasound tech put it in an envelope. I had one of my best friends be the point person. I ordered these smoke bombs (they are ring pull and super easy to use, no lighter necessary!) and shipped them to her house! The shipping was also as advertised. Then she handed them to us with the cap on at the reveal. While they do have discreet labeling (as advertised) there is a spot where you can see what’s inside, so if you are also trying to be surprised make sure you use the cap until you are ready to pull the ring. Then remove it!
Also, I recommend ordering extra smoke bombs if you would like to do more pictures! We are so thankful for Joseph Medlin Photography for capturing all these images!
We also had a friend make a beautiful video for us to remember the whole event. You can check it out here on my IGTV.
If you couldn’t tell from the images, we were completely shocked it was two boys! We were pretty sure we were having at least one girl, if not two! We are so thankful that the Lord has decided to make us boy parents and can’t wait for what’s ahead!
We are also so thankful for all the many friends and family that we know already love these babies!
